Billy R. Anderson

Billy Ralph Anderson, age 86, passed away on August 15, 2017 at his home in Valparaiso, FL.  Billy was born in Henager, AL to Donald and Beatrice Anderson.  He served 28 yrs .and 7 mos. In the USAF (CMSgt) and 14 yrs. in Civil Service.  Billy enjoyed golfing, football, tennis, dancing and cooking.  He is survived by his wife, Virginia “Tiny” Anderson; son Van (Charlotte) Anderson of Chattanooga, TN, and their two sons, Zach and Josh; son Alec Anderson of London, England; daughter, Carol (Edward) Battersby of Hoover, AL and their two sons, Will and James; stepson, Bob (Debbie) Harvey of Fairhope, AL and their three children, Wallace, Savannah, and Bailey; stepson, Dupree (Ruth Ann Moss) Harvey and son, Spencer; stepdaughter, Jessica (Jeffrey) Queer of Panama City, FL and their two children, Drayven and Kage;  and his sister, Rexine Williams.  A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2PM at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Emerald Coast in Valparaiso, FL.  We ask that you not wear black and to also bring a dish for fellowship.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Emerald Coast or a charity of your choice in Billy’s name.
