Doris Chancey, age 84, transitioned to her heavenly home on September 18.   A native of South Carolina, Doris moved to Niceville in 1967 where she and her late husband, Ned Chancey, owned and operated Niceville TV/Walco Appliances.  

Doris, the youngest of 10 children, is predeceased by her parents, Ernest (Papa) and Guthrie (Big Momma) Smith; her 5 brothers and 4 sisters; and her infant son, David Wilson.  We can only imagine the celebration in heaven now that they are all reunited!

Doris is survived by 3 children, James Kenneth Wilson, Jr.  (wife, Debbie), Mary Gayle (Stormy) Wilson Harper (husband Oscar), Richard Scott Chancey and two step-children, Ned Chancey, Jr. and Regina Totten.  In addition she is survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a slew of nieces and nephews, each of whom correctly think they were her favorite!
