Kendrick Lamont Owens

Kendrick Lamont Owens passed on Thursday, August 10th, 2017 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. Kendrick is survived by his wife Jennifer (Jackson) Owens, his two sons Keshawn and Elijah, and his 4 step children James, Malrik, Ky-yon, and Taraji.

Kendrick was born in 1973 at General Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. His immediate family included his mother Pauletta Owens and his father Terry Owens Sr. and his two brothers Terry Owens Jr. and Charles Jenkins Owens. Activities that Kendrick enjoyed included fishing, listening to music, and being around family and friends. Kendrick worked as a salesman selling mostly furniture for over 10 years at different companies with the longest being at Ashley Furniture

Kendrick worked at Fudpuckers on the Island for almost a full year as a server.

He also worked part time doing construction and air conditioning for different companies.

Kendrick loved many and was loved by many.

 His funeral will be held at Cinco Baptist Church located at 26 Yacht Club Drive, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, at 2:00PM on Tuesday, August 15th,2017. There will be a time for visitation from 1:30PM-2:00PM the same day. Anyone who knew Kendrick is invited to say their goodbyes.

All arrangements are being handled by Emerald Coast Funeral Home and the Owens Family.
