Patricia Jane Baker

Patricia J. Baker, age 89, of Niceville FL passed away April 2, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born to Gerald Nichols and Allie Hayden March 27, 1935, in Washington D.C. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Patricia was well known in the local medical community having worked as a mental health technician, certified surgical technician, office manager and a medical records coder for Twin Cities Hospital. She was also an avid birder with both the Alabama Ornithological Society and Audubon Society.

She is predeceased by her son Roger Allen Baker along with her parents. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Roger W. Baker, children; Gary M. Baker, Stephen T. Baker, Terrence L. Baker, her granddaughter Jane (Chris) Mitchell, and great grandson Benjamin Mitchell. 

A graveside service will be held on April 5th, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Sunset Cemetery in Valparaiso FL with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Audubon Society.
