Patrick Lee Zielinski, Sept. 25, 1961 to July 23, 2017

Pat Zielinski, 55, of Crestview passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Crestview, FL.  Mr. Zielinski was born Sept. 25, 1961 in East St Louis, IL.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Leo Zielinski, and his mother, Ruth Zielinski.  He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, IL.  And a partial member of First Baptist Church of Garden City in Crestview, FL.  Pat enlisted in the U. S. Navy on Dec. 18, 1981 in St. Louis, MO.  During his enlistment he completed Basic Electricity & Electronics School.  Upon his discharge, Dec. 9, 1985, he was classified as an Electronics Technician Seaman.  Pat returned to Collinsville were he worked in different electronics positions before working at Copy Source/Mirex Corporation in St. Louis, MO as a copier repair tech.  This is where he met his wife Donna.  He is survived by Donna, his wife of 26 years; daughter Laura Ann Zielinski and step-daughter Lisa Polinsky (John); and step-grandson Kyle; all of Crestview; his brother Mike Zielinski of Chicago, IL; and many, many, many more who called him friend.  A Gathering of Friends and Loved Ones will be at 3:00 pm on September 23, 2017 at the family residence.
