Dear Lucile,
We just heard about the passing of General McDonald and are so saddened by it. He was such an exemplary man and officer and we are honored to have known him. The contributions he made to his community and country were many and monumental. We send our deepest condolences. Aunt Lucile and family, sorry for your loss and our condolences to you. My families thoughts and prayers are with you. Uncle Charlie was certainly an inspiration in my Air Force career and showed a path of dedicated service to our country. He will certainly be missed.
