Hazel Kathryn Kay O’Donnell, passed away October 20, in her home in Freeport, FL. She was 82. Kay was born on May 12, 1938 to Hazel Gordon Jones and Pete Jones in Clovis New Mexico. Her family moved to Portales New Mexico where she graduated high school in 1956. After high school Kay met Edward O’Donnell and was married shortly after on September 16, 1956. While Ed finished college, the two moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado along with three children, Damon, Dari, and Doran. A fourth child, Devon was born a few years later. Kay was a homemaker, loved silversmithing, and was a member of the local garden club.
