Irene Frances Waligore

1924-2017

Irene Waligore, age 93, of Miramar Beach, FL, went to be with her Lord on August 22, 2017.

She was born to Frances and John Szczawinski on February 4, 1924 in Dickson City, PA.

During WWI, she was a riveter at Willow Run Bomber Plant in Detroit, MI. Later she worked at Michigan Mutual Insurance Company, where met and married her husband Harry Waligore in October 1948.

She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Harry Waligore, V.P. of Finance and Treasurer at Michigan Mutual. Also, she was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony, John and Joseph Savinski and sisters Rose Demboski, Lottie Stoicovich and Nancy Yanosh.

She is survived by her children Kathleen Harris (Jared) Hamilton of Miramar Beach, FL and John Waligore of Springfield IL. Also she is survived by her sister Mary Calzalaio, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be put to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, MI next to her husband Harry.
