Janie Noland Spruiell

Janie Noland Spruiell of Niceville, Florida, passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 87.  She died peacefully at home with her daughter at her side.

She is survived by her son William Craig Spruiell of Mt Pleasant, Michigan, and her daughter Celeste Saxon of Niceville, Florida; grandchildren, Will Saxon, John Saxon, Katy Weaver (Joseph), great-granddaughter Clarity Weaver; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Herman and Gracie Dell Noland; beloved husband of thirty-four years, William Woodall Spruiell; daughter, France Marie Spruiell; and siblings, Herman Leigh Noland, William Arthur Noland, Frances N Chew, Jean N McCorkle, and Joy N. Gilreath.

Janie was a talented artist, quilter, and an avid Scrabble enthusiast. She enjoyed playing the piano and a good game of chess as well.

Janie will be laid to rest next to her husband in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
