  Jessica Ophelia Miller, 82, of Shalimar passed away on May 21, 2022. Jessica was born on May 26, 1939, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Harry W. and LaVera Grubb. Jessica was an educator for 22 years in Okaloosa County School District, serving most of those years at Oak Hill Elementary School. During her early retirement at the age of 55, Jessica traveled extensively worldwide. 
  Jessica was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, Charles I. Miller, whom she married on Christmas Day, 1963. She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Palmer (Wolfgang) of Crestview, Florida. A private, family ceremony will be held.
