Richard Allen Walley

Richard Allen Walley, age 63, a resident of Niceville, Florida passed away on September 17, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his mother Lois Mildred Walley and Grandparents Buck and Chippy Cutts. He was a graduate of Mobile County High School in Grand Bay, Alabama, The United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado and earned a Master’s Degree from Air Force Institute of Technology Engineering.  Richard retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service.  After retirement he continued his career working 19 years in Civil Service.  His last assignment was Division Chief, Direct Attack Division, Armament Directorate and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Eglin AFB, Florida.

His hobbies included boating, motorcycle riding and fishing.  Though Richard had many interests, his family and friends were the biggest part of his life.  He lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Emma Walley; Sons; Jason Allen Walley of Pensacola, Florida and Daniel Richard Walley of Alexandria, Va.; Grandsons William Knightly Walley and Duncan Scott Carlon, Brother; James Gary (Kathy) Walley Sr.; and Nephews and many friends.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020, from 5-8 p.m. at the McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home, Niceville, Fl.  Following the visitation Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Serenity Memorial Gardens, 8691 Old Pasagoula Road, Theodore, Al. 36582.
