Sharon Barber

With a broken heart, we announce the passing of our beloved Sharon Marie (Bell) Barber (Valparaiso, Fl) on April 30, 2022. Sharon was born August 25, 1941, in Portage Wisconsin, to James Bell and Mildred (Barton) Bell. She was blessed to have two sets of Parents and Clifford Barnard and Clara (Johnson) Barnard raised her from the age of three until she turned 18. 

Sharon was preceded in death by both sets of parents; her foster brother, John Bell; her eight biological siblings, Betty, Ruth, Lola, Lula, John, James, Jeanette, and Jerry. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews and their families. 

Sharon was the wife of Harril Edward Barber (Valparaiso, Fl) for 60 years. Sharon and Harril have 7 living children; Lori (Michael) Ray, Cary (Rick) Jones, Debra (Jude) Chase, Tracy (Randy) Francis, Dawn (Paul) Nedrow, and Mark (Kim) Barber, and Mary (John Miller) Barber. Sharon and Harril have eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home on May 7, at 11:00 AM. Graveside will be at Sunset Cemetery in Valparaiso following.
