Thomas Scott Key, 52, passed away on Christmas Eve at his home in Niceville, Florida. Thomas was a talented artist and enjoyed a successful career as a Graphic Designer. He combined his artistic talent and love for sports to enhance and beautify race cars, football fields, and many other items for his family and friends to enjoy. He was successful in many areas, but was most proud of his two kids, Emily Michelle Key (19) and Thomas Wayne ‘TW’ Key (17).
Thomas was born April 3, 1968 in Los Angeles, CA but was raised in Eastabooga, Alabama. He lived many years in Birmingham, AL, but moved to Niceville, FL in 2005.
Thomas was the creator and the driving force behind getting the “Flying N” on the football field this season. It took many hours of work and dedication to develop and implement the process, but many Niceville fans took pride in seeing it on the field.
A service to celebrate Thomas’ life will be held at the Church of Jesus of Latter Day Saints, 1100 Palm Blvd. S, in Niceville, Florida on Saturday, January 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm. The family requests that those so inclined, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Niceville High School Football at:
