William Bryan Hicks

Bill was a lifelong resident of Niceville, Florida.  He attended grade school in Okaloosa County.  He continued his education at Pensacola Jr. College and the University of Florida.  Bill was drafted into the Army and after his tour to Vietnam, he returned to complete a law degree at Stetson University. He spent most of his days working in the family shrimping business and fishing whenever he had the chance.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Lin Hicks; father, Burress P. Hicks; mother, Naomi A. Hicks, and stepson, Ritchie Eubanks. He is survived by his brothers, Jimmy Hicks (Betty); Larry Hicks (Thelma); Walter Hicks (Lou Ann); sister, Brenda Runge (Bob); Ritchie’s wife, Stacey Eubanks; stepson, Randy Eubanks (Dawn); Many nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on August 11, 2022, at 10:00 am followed by services at 11:00 am at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home.  Graveside will be held at Early Cemetery.
