Roy S. Livesay

Good Friday 2017, Stan Livesay went home to be with the Lord and his son Sean. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Niceville. Stan was born in Greensville, SC and raised in Tampa, FL. He attended Chamberlain H.S. and the University of South Florida. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Livesay; a sister, Pat Lachmann; two brothers, Henry and Butch Livesay and many nieces and nephews. Stan was extremely successful in the Insurance industry. He held many awards with many companies; he was International Man of the Year with Combined Insurance Company. In his career, he was in the Million Dollar Round Table. In Legal Shield, he was a member of the Millionaire’s Club. He was a great dad, a great husband, and a great leader to his team. Stan made everyone he met feel important, that was his gift.
A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. They are much like eagles…They don’t flock, you find them one at a time. This definition of leadership was Stan Livesay.
Stan’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Niceville Community Center on July 29th at 3 pm. Please, no food or flowers.
